Sophie Gilkens (b. 2002, Genk) is a visual artist based in Diepenbeek, Belgium, working primarily with photography. Her practice explores human behavior, intimacy, and the boundaries between what is shown and concealed. Through staged, cinematic images, she constructs ambiguous narratives that blur the line between fiction and lived experience, inviting viewers into spaces of reflection and emotional tension.
